| Čestmír Kopecký Project director, member of the dramaturgical committee After studying at the Film and TV Faculty of the Prague Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU, Department of Organisation and Management), Čestmír Kopecký worked for a year at the Short Films corporation. He then worked at Czechoslovak Television (up to 1989) as a producer and then up to 1999 as the head of a production group. Since 2000 he has been an independent film and television producer. He has been involved in the following films which won in the category Best Film at the Czech Film Academy awards (Czech Lions): Díky za každé nové ráno (Thank You For Each New Morning) 1994 Záhrada (The Garden) 1995 Knoflíkáři (The Buttoners) 1997 Návrat idiota (The Return of the Idiot) 1999 Rok ďábla (The Year of the Devil) 2002 Nuda v Brně (Boredom in Brno) 2003 Karamazovi (The Karamazovs) 2008 Why should Ostrava be Capital of Culture 2015?
